Experience
Children's Book Illustrator 1997 to Present
Illustrated more than twenty children’s picture books, board books and educational books for Publishing Companies such as Simon & Schuster, Orchard Books, Harper Collins and Readers Digest.
Worked in the Stationery Industry creating exclusive illustrations for greeting cards, gift wrap and gift bags for companies such as the Gift Wrap Company, Portal Publications in the US and Second Nature Ltd. in the UK.
Works traditionally with acrylics on canvas for children's books illustrations and with mixed medium such as pastel, charcoal, ink and watercolor on paper and cardboard for location drawings, portraits and model drawings.
Since her Illustration studies at F.I.T. the artist's new passion is animation. ‘’The World is a Mirror” is her first animated short film which combines both traditional and digital media.
The artist/illustrator also had many volunteer art workshops at schools such as Explore Charter School in Brooklyn and United Nations International School in New York.
The artist also had a wonderful experience as an art teacher during the 2014-15 School Year at New Voices School of Academic & Creative Arts in Brooklyn to inspire the young artists.
She had the honor to be the juror for 404 Art Gallery‘s “From Mice to Monsters” International Illustration Competition in Brooklyn.
